2011 Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai has officially unveiled the new Elantra(aka Avante in other markets)  at the Busan International show. While the previous Elantra looked liked a Corolla Altis, the new Elantra surprisingly transforms into a much sportier sedan. Fitted into the fluidic design we first saw on the 2010 Hyundai Tucson.

The Elantra sold locally was not much of a success -- at Php998,000 fitted on a frugal yet toque-y 1.6 CRDi Common Rail engine. Altis and Civic owners didn't gamble much on buying the slanted H badge than the Japanese favorites.

With the current model's disappointing local sales- Hyundai Asia Resources (HARI), the Philippines exclusive local distributor, might be thinking whether or not to release the new product here again. We say : We want it here!

Proven Hyundai vehicles are now slowly and surely occupying buyer's garages, we just can't wait to get this here.
