Mazda UK announced the upgrade of the Mazda 6. The new Mazda6 will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
In Europe, the car gets the same 2.0 DISI direct injection plus 2.2 liter turbo diesel, with different outputs ranging from 120 PS to 180 PS said to produce lower carbon emissions and improved fuel economy.There will also be a 2.5 workhorse that we have here.
The Mazda 6's facelift feature adaptive lighting system and hill launch assist.
While Mazda Philippines has not officially released a TV ad for the Mazda 2, and neither I claim that this will be it, it's just noteworthy to show you that this is indeed TV ad used in Thailand (where we will get our Mazda 2) which got sold since the 25th

Mazda 2 is now for sale in your nearby Mazda dealer. It is available in a 1.5 liter variant matted in a 4-speed automatic. The engine kicks well above the century mark at 103hp.
The all-new Mazda2 comes in colors red, green, white, blue, and black and sells for P795,000 in Mazda showrooms.
As we learned that the Mazda 2 will be shipped from Thailand, details of the "2" model from the Mazda Thailand website suggest we may have this model for sale here by January.
Performance
The 2 will be powered by a Euro 4-compliant 1.5 liter MZR engine with S-VT( Sequential Valve Timing ) and can be fed up to E20 bio fuel (20% ethanol gasoline blend).
Interior
The Mazda 2 brags it has the one of the most spacious cabin in its class with optimized position of the A-pillars and side mirror away from the driver, combined with large A-pillar windows and lower side mirror placement give spacious and open impression while enabling excellent forward visibility at all driving conditions.
Pricing
With Mazda 2 reporting a price range of 535000 Baht for the Base model,and 690000 Baht for the top of the line , that equates to a much expensive price range of Php 744000 - 960000 as compared to the the Jazz, Yaris and even the Hyundai i10.
Reliable sources tell CARAZINE that the the new Mazda 2 ( known as Demio in some markets) may hit the showrooms early January of next year. The Mazda 2 shares the platrom with the Ford Fiesta .
An article from the Bangkok Post states tells: "Exports of Mazda 2 five-door hatchbacks built at the AutoAlliance Thailand plant in Rayong will begin next month to Asean and Australia." Further it added

I personally say that above all the Japanese car makers, Mazda is truly a standout in its design and image. Just look at a Mazda's angle and you'll recognize its a Mazda. All Mazda have a unique face, an image, a strking physique... a spirit.
Since the intoduction of the Mazda 3 in the Philippines back in 2004, then Toyota Corolla Altis and Honda Civic dominated the sedan segment, just as in the rest of the world. But then Mazda 3 came, Toyota and Honda scratched their heads just to meet a new rival trying to take away their dominance and the Lancer completely lost its ground as a sports sedan.
Back to the all new Mazda 3
This is what 99% sure our all New 2010 Mazda 3 would be.Mazda Malaysia has already launched the 3. There are 2 variants: the 4 door sedan and 5 door hatchback; in the past Mazda 3 Malaysia, Indonesia, and the rest of the Southeast Asia had the same version of Mazda 3 that has been sold here locally.
Just like the previous Mazda 3, there will be two engine options - a 1.6 liter 16valve inline 4 cylinder and 2.0 loiter Rotary engine. As seen in Mazda Malaysia, the 1.6 liter is equipped with a 4 speed Activematic, and the high end 2 liter engine is equipped with a five speed automatic.
The power steering is still the same old Hydraulic Power Assist Steering (HPAS) System.
Like new car models, the new Mazda 3 Sedan is longer by 160mm to an overall length of 4580mm, the body' width still is 1,755mm and from ground to top this boy really has become taller by 5mm.
Not much specifics has been released about the interior, but the dashboard and overall interior finish looks Mazda neat and perfect.
Initial information from Mazda suggests there are colors ranging from White, Silver, Grey, Black, Blue and Red.
