Rolls Royce Ghost Official Photos, Specs, and Prices
Phantom's Sibling? Think againRolls Royce has officially unveiled its new Ghost. The car which will be shown at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show is like a sibling of the Rolls Royce Phantom.
The car will be powered by a 563bhp 6.6-litre turbocharged V12. OUtput can reach a astaggering 575lb ft at just 1500rpm,and it takes a mere 4.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h with a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
The precise measurements of the Rolls-Royce Ghost (2009) have been published today – allowing us to position in relation to big brother, the Phantom. It’s a four-door, five-seater:
• Length: 5399mm
• Width 1948mm
• Height: 1550mm
• Wheelbase: 3295mm
Rolls Royce confirms that it will cost £ 165,000 "plus taxes and other charges", so that puts it to a total of £ 190,000 or Php 15,073,250.49 (at 79.3329 exchange rate)

The bottom line : A very stately car, indeed. For the price tag, its good to think whether you actually want the Ghost or a very well established 7 Series BMW or an S Class Mercedes.
BMW Vision EfficientDynamics officially unveiled
Let's take things straight: This is a concept car from BMW promised for a mass production in the near-term.
Under the hood of the new BMW Vision EfficientDynamics is BMW’s new generation three-cylinder engine in a long time – a 1.5 liter inline-3, mated to two electric motors, one each on the front and rear axle. It is mounted in a mid-engine position behind the rear seats and puts out 163hp and 290Nm of torque by itself, and is mated to a 6-speed twin clutch transmission with its TCU tuned for fuel economy (other twin clutch previously announced by BMW have been 7-speed). Overall system output – 356hp and a massive 800Nm of torque.
0 to 100km/h takes 4.8 seconds and the car goes up to an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h. EU test cycle fuel consumption is rated at 3.76 liters per 100km, and CO2 output is pegged at just 99g/km. BMW says it can go up to 700km or just 650km on the diesel motor alone.

Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the exclusive distributor of BMW vehicles & motorcycles in the country, has just introduced the fifth generation of the 7-Series sedan.
The new BMW 7 Series is the result of BMW's commitment to design, as well as supreme chassis and drivetrain engineering, plus leading safety, driver assistance and comfort.
“The BMW 7 Series is our flagship model and we are very much pleased to offer this to the discerning Philippine market,” said Mr. Jose Ch. Alvarez, Chairman of Asian Carmakers. “With the introduction of the new BMW 7 Series, ACC intends to further strengthen its market leadership in the premium market segment,” he added.
The high-performance and outstandingly efficient engines as well as the suspension technology of the new BMW 7 Series are both quite unique in the luxury saloon segment. It will be initially available in two engine variants: the 750Li and the 740Li. Both power units offer the highest standards of efficiency in their respective class and comply in full with the EU 5 emission standard. The new BMW 7 Series comes as standard with Dynamic Damper Control as well as Dynamic Driving Control, both operated by the touch of a button on the center console. The new BMW 7 Series also introduces the new generation of BMW’s trendsetting iDrive control system.
The entertainment systems available on the rear seats of the new BMW likewise set new standards in the world of motoring, with two TV screens integrated in the front seat backrests and allowing individual use on each side, two headsets and two AUX-in ports as well as a DVD player all included in the entertainment package.
