As the car wont defintely shock the car nerves ot of you, nor will it actually give a feeling that it actually is a McLaren, it still worth to find out what car will actaully do.

The super car will be powered by a 3.8 liter 90-degree V8 which will boast around 600 horses. ‘It delivers the highest horsepower to CO2 ratio of any car on the market today with an internal combustion engines – and that includes petrol and diesel hybrids,’ boasts Antony Sheriff, MD of McLaren Automotive. Expect a CO2 output somewhere just south of 300g/km.

Actual performance figures aren’t available yet, but we hear the 0-100km/h will be less than 4 seconds and breaching past 200 km/h is a normal no-sweat challenge. McLaren claims that 80% of the MP4-12C's torque is available below 2000rpm, really surprising!

A price tag this much is actually steered up by the extensive use of carbon fiber clothed in plastic and aluminum components. The MP4-12C will feature what MCLaren calls as  MonoCell Skeleton, as seen below. This technology is a rare in the supercar class.
