It's official: The all-new Chevrolet Cruze is now on sale. If you have been following us, we already reported last December that this car was already destined to be here. Chevy didn't actually let us down; as promised they're delivering this fresh model as scheduled.
The Cruze is Chevy's compact banging for a share of a tightly fought compact sedan segement currently dominated by Toyota Altis and Honda Civic.
The Philippine-spec Cruze is powered by an all aluminum 1.8 liter gasoline that pulls out 141 hosepower and 176Nm of torque matted to either a five speed manual or a six-speed automoatic transmission.
The exterior is best described as aggresive and masculine.
Inside though, you'll be greeted by an ergonomically designed space and optitron meter gauges.
The Cruze will be sold in two variants the L,LS, and LT. Manual transmission L and LS will sell for P808,888 and P858,888, respectively; while the automatic LS and top-of the-line LT are at P908,888 and P1.048 million.
