2010 Toyota RAV-4 Facelift Debuts

With 7.6 million cars (and counting) of cars lined for recall, it's business not so usual for Toyota. Even though, they are launching the facelift of the RAV-4 Compact SUV at The Gevena Motor Show.

Toyota announces that the European-spec will get a new front design and interior upgrades. Pictured here is a European-spec with a D-CAT engine ( look closer at the photos and see the D-CAT logo just around the fender). Right now, the RAV-4 sold in the UK gets a D-4D (common rail diesel) engine.

Anyway you look at it,  the redesigned  RAV-4 is a copy of the longer wheelbase Vanguard SUV sold by Toyota in Japan

Visible from the initial photos include a new front design with Toyota's new grille theme, re-molded front bumpers and hood.

Should Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) release an upgrade of the RAV-4, this is pretty much how it would look like.

*Fingers crossed for the diesel engine*
