Toyota, THE World's Most Valued Automobile Brand for 2008. Can they keep it up this year?

Toyota was the most valuable brand among car manufacturers accorind to Interbrand, the leader in brand management of top firms. According to InterBrand "..Toyota continues to benefit from the "green halo effect" of the Prius, which is still widely talked about in the media. Like its sister brand Lexus, Toyota has managed to control the perception of its national heritage where helpful, but also ply its trade as a truly global brand..." Toyota, by 2008 isestimated to be valued at S34.05 Billion.
Interbrand annually releases a reports on titled "Best Global Brands List" which tallies the 100 most valued brands in the universe.


And by the way, That's so 2000 and eight! But after the first ever annual net loss for Toyota and the financial crisis, can Toyota kep it up? How will German, Asian ,and American carmakers fare in 2009. We'll give the results on Sept 22, 2009. You WILL see it her first, we Promise.
