New Honda PCX Scooter with Idle Stop System?
A bike , powered by a 125cc motor sure doesn't make news; but what makes news is that it is equipped with a an Idling Stop System.
The bike will be introduced initially in Thailand, where it will be made off, then to the rest of the ASEAN region, and finally to the entire globe. Honda claims the the new Scooter can go for 50 kilometers per liter and mentions that the bike won't sell cheap as this will be positioned in the high-end high-value segment.
The Idle stop system helps in fuel efficiency by automatically stoping the engine when the bike comes in a complete stop--for of course whatever reason.
The god news: We're helping mother earth someway or the other .
The bad news: But we rarely see scooters stop during traffic in EDSA.
