Mercedes Benz Philippines has released the E Class. The E Class raises the bar in in the luxury sedan market yet again. The looks are classic as the rest of the other past and present Mercedes Benz (except the Vitto) models, and these one, yet again is a classic in the making.
The sedan will be released in the e500 variant and E63 AMG. The e500 is powered by a 5.5 l V8 delivering a maximum 388 hp at 6600 rpm. The car can reach from 0-100km/h in 5.2 seconds and will reach an electronically-limited speed of 250 km/h. The power will be transmitted via a 7 speed &G-Tronic system to the rear wheels. Mercedes says that fuel consumption for combined city and highway driving will be at 10.9-11.2 per 100 kilometer.
The E63 AMG version on the other hand will get a 6.2 liter V8 to have a final output of a staggering 688 horsepower at 6600 rpm, plus of course the AMG badge.
